when I’m in exercise mode recording a bike ride, text messages don’t appear on my Versa 2.  Is there something in settings I need to change?

Hello there @Ahjacobs, welcome to the Community Forums. We'll be glad to help you with your notifications not coming through while you exercise.

Have you tried what @wtksk8r suggested? When you turn on the do not disturbquiet hours, or driving mode setting on your phone, your Fitbit device receives notifications but won’t alert you. Swipe down from the top of the screen to see your notifications.

Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the quick settings icon > do not disturb or sleep mode. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Note: If you have an Android phone, you can set your Fitbit device to always send you notifications:

  1. Tap the Today tab > your profile picture > Notifications
  2. In the Vibration Settings section, turn on the Always Vibrate option.

Hope this helps, let us know if you need further assistance.

Try swiping left until you see the settings (gear) app. tap that. Scroll down to 'do not disturb' and tap that.

Make sure the During Exercise switch is on off.
