Versa 2 won't respond

My Versa 2 stopped working while on the charger one evening. I've checked that the charger is working properly (it is) I've also tried to reset the Versa 2 by holding down the button for 10 seconds. Nothing works. I've reloaded my Fit Bit app, tried to sync it, nothing. The screen has the Fitbit symbol show up occasionally but that is all it will do. Please help! I love this thing and swear by it everyday.

Hi there, @versa2problems. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how yo must be feeling. 

In addition to the steps you've tried so far, I'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps provided at Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

As for the Fitbit Logo, please try the below steps once you've tried the above suggestions:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

This happened to me today while on my 8 mile run. Just quit at mile 5. It will not charge. It will not sync and I can occasionally hold down the button and get the Fitbit symbol to show up. Then nothing. It also feels extremely hot.
