Versa 2 won’t setup

My Versa 2 is not syncing with the app. The last time it synced was 10/23; I was in the middle of my workout, my Versa 2 ended the workout without me intentionally pushing any buttons. I started a new workout and it hasn’t synced since then. I have l closed the app and reopened it. I have shut down my phone and restarted it (iPhone 7). I have disconnected the Bluetooth, and reconnected it. Today I got a message that asked me to “set up” my Bluetooth connection to my Versa 2. I clicked it, but there was no change.
All of these I have done several times over the past 5 days, with no success. I can’t devote any more time to fixing this. Please help!

Hi @Lnernst, welcome to the Community Forums.

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Thanks, but I’ve attempted all troubleshooting suggestions, to no avail. I’ve had my Versa 2 for a year and a half, and I’ve never had any serious issues until now. I’ve spent at least an hour everyday for the past week trying to get my watch to sync. I’m not sure what else to do.

I’ve tried shutting down my phone, restarting my watch, turning off Bluetooth—then turning it back on, forgetting my Versa 2 on my Bluetooth, and my watch and phone both are fully updated. When I open the app (after all of these attempts) it shows my steps, flights of stairs, and current heart rate, but none of it saves. Also, my watch isn’t keeping time—it’s now 9 minutes behind my phone time.

Should I delete the Fitbit app and try to log back in?

Please advise what else I can do.

Lindsay
