I had the same problem and gotten 2 replacements. After going to settings and turning off the quick view feature on the watch it works like a charm. The problem underlies on the screen wake setting. Please put it in manual mode and reboot 2x and you should be fine.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Nick85. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I am sorry to hear your Versa 2 won't swipe from the home screen. Thanks for trying to resolve this and I am here to help. I would like to confirm the steps you tried to restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Please also try switching to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

my screen has stopped responding as well, despite restarting it multiple times, as directed.    since the screen won’t respond, i cannot get past my clock face to get to settings to turn it completely off.    I have also changed my clock face, and this also did not help.

what else can can be done??   i just got this 5 months ago!!!!

Another issue that I’m having is on top of not being able to swipe is that it won’t even display the home screen sometimes.  When I go to look at the time it is just a black screen, and pressing the left button sometimes doesn’t turn it on either.   Then a few minutes later it will work again.  I’m not sure  what can be done as I have tried turning it off, and doing factory resets

I changed my screen from auto to manual. It's been perfect ever since. The battery lasts way longer too! I used to have to charge my versa 2 every day, I've only charged it once this week and it was at 62% when I put it on the charger!

I'm glad the suggestion I posted worked for you too!

I agree with flipflop1126! I got my Versa 2 for Christmas. Can’t swipe. Restarted MANY times, changed clockface to Fitbit clock. Can’t swipe screen to get to settings to shut down all the way. I love using my Fitbit and need help! Thanks

My versa will also not respond when swiping up or down. I have tried restarting and also changed the clock faces as suggested but it is still not swiping.

I have changed the clock face and turned off the quick view and still cannot swipe. I won’t swipe to go to settings so I can’t try to reset it to factory settings.
