I've also had that issue. I did what another user suggested- I changed the "screen wake" from auto to manual. Obviously, that means you have to get to the screen with the "settings" icon and how does one do that when swiping doesn't work? I did the resets as suggested with no luck. What worked for me was immediately after a full charge I was quite aggressive with tapping and swiping the screen. Eventually I got it to move and I was able to get to the settings. Don't know if this approach will work for you but my Versa 2 has been behaving very nicely since this action.
