Hi,
I purchased a Fitbit Versa 2 for my mother in January (purchased it on the Fitbit website during the deal you had at the beginning of January).
My parents tried numerous time to get it to work with their Ipads but never succeeded to do the initial setup. During the setup, at the step where the fitbit application is supposed to detect the watch, it doesnt detect it.
They tried it on 2 different Ipads (recent Ipads, purchased in the last year) and tried many tips found online without any success. They just gave up and gave me the watch back. I tried to sync it with my computer (Windows 10) and I have the same issue, they watch won't sync.
I was there the first time they tried to configure it on a Ipad. At the step where we have to connect the watch via bluetooth (during the setup, after downloading the application) the first time we attempted to configure the watch, we were displayed digits on the watch and entered these digits on the corresponding Ipad screen as asked but after that it just ended up telling us that the watch was not found. That was weird since a few seconds ago it had showed us the digits to enter in the app... Since then, if we try to do the setup again (on the watch it just display the Fitbit logo and the "to start, download the fitbit app" message), it just doesn't sync and doesn't find the watch. Its the same issue on both Ipad and on my Windows 10 computer. As an additionnal information, after the first attempt, it never showed the digits again.
Bluetooth is correctly enabled. We even tried what some guides suggest and disabled/reactivated Bluetooth but it didn't fix the issue.
On my Windows 10 computer. I installed the application using the Microsoft Store and tried to complete the setup but as I said it doesnt detect the watch. If I go to the Bluetooth setting of my computer, I can see the watch. I tried deleting it from the Bluetooth settings and running the setup again but it didnt change anything (also tried restarting the computer).
The watch is fully charged and we attempted these steps with the watch connected to the charging cable and also tried to do it with the watch being disconnected from the charging cable.
I tried to reset the watch by holding the "back" button 10 seconds, the watch restarted but it still won't connect.
Any way to solve this issue?
Thank you
