I have restarted versa, Uninstaller and re-installed the fitbit app, shut down and restarted my versa....and it's still not syncing with app- wrong time, etc. Bluetooth on my phone will recognize my versa 2 but then says app is required to connect which I was already in. Please help. Send

Hi @Jsara, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To fix this issue, please follow the next steps and let me know how it goes:

  1. Restart your Versa 2.
  2. Please on the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, and remove all the connections that exist with the device. (Forget device, ignore or unpair depending on the version of the operating system of the phone).
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth and restart the phone. (Switch off and on again).
  4. When the mobile device is back on, turn the Bluetooth on again but do not attempt to connect to the Fitbit from here.
  5. Go on the app and try setting up the Fitbit as a new device.

@Guy_ Thanks for the steps that were shared on your post.

I'll be here if further assistance is needed.

It may be necessary to set it up again after all the steps that were done

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Click on  + Set up a Device

Follow the installation instructions

If that doesn't succeed probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
