I bought a Versa 2 a few months ago and am just now getting ready to use it.  I have an old Fitbit that I am currently using.  How do I get my new Fitbit to upload?  Can I do it without losing today's fitness goals from my old Fitbit?  It is not showing my Versa 2 in my devices column...although it is plugged in....can anyone help?

You need to link your Versa 2 to your account before you'll see it in the devices column.

To do that, go into your account settings in the app by selecting your profile image at the top left of the main screen. Then select "set up a device". Choose the Versa 2 and follow the prompts. All your data, badges, settings etc will be retained.

It should now appear in your devices list. From that list you can also select your old fitbit and choose to remove it from your account. This should speed up syncing of your Versa 2 as it won't go looking for your old tracker.
