Recently got the Versa 3 for Christmas after having the Apple Watch for quite a while. I previously owned the Blaze before in the past, so I do have some experience with Fitbit.
However, since the Blaze, I have since picked up cycling quite a bit and use these watches to track my rides. With using the Apple Watch along with Cyclemeter and Strava, I never had any issues. However, with using Fitbit, I'm getting constant GPS connectivity issues... on the same routes, I took with the Apple Watch. This is of course infuriating to see data that is much less than what occurred. For example, I rode for 24 miles this morning, but only 22 were counted due to constant GPS disconnect/reconnect.
See here's the thing, I actually like the Fitbit a little more than the Apple Watch since the Fitbit seems to put more emphasis on, well, getting fit. The Apple Watch, although great in many ways, is much more of a fancy smartwatch, in my opinion. Bottom line, I don't want to give up on the Fitbit just yet and go back to the Apple Watch. If I could simply get this GPS issue solved and track my daily cycling, I'm more than happy with it. Lots of things I miss from Fitbit that I'm happy to have back, such as aiming for 250 steps per hour, in-depth sleep tracking, and more.
So my question is, besides the obvious of turning on/off, resetting, etc., is there anything I can do to get this GPS issue resolved? Or is this just a known issue that everyone just deals with? I'm hoping it's not the latter... 😮

Hi there @oden007. Welcome to Community Forums.
I appreciate you share your experience. I'd recommend you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device, then restart your device.
Fitbit devices use a 3-axis accelerometer to track movement. Our finely-tuned algorithm interprets the data from the accelerometer to provide a step count. When you sync your device, your step count appears in the Fitbit app.
They calculate distance based on the device’s accelerometer data and stride length setting. Default stride length is based on your height and gender. If available, Fitbit devices use GPS data to calculate more precise distances. When you sync your device, our algorithm interprets the data from the device, and you see the distance traveled in the Fitbit app.
