Versa 3 Isn't Counting All Steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The last few days my Versa 3 isn't showing all of my steps. For example I might walk 25 steps and it will not budge, but then it will start counting a few steps here or there. It mainly wants to count steps only when I take long strides briskly, but if I walk back and forth while busy doing something then it doesn't count most of them or any of them. I've never had an issue with this before. I have restarted it multiple times as well as cleaned it very well on the back a few times. I've also checked for app updates as well as firmware updates and all of those things are good. How can this be fixed? Is something wrong with the sensors...???

Hi @K.M.99. Welcome to the community forums.

Thanks for the details regarding the issue with your Versa and the steps performed in order to fix it.

Before considering other options, please make sure that you've tried the restart procedure as described in this article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? Then check if you continue to experience the same behavior.

In the meantime, you can find more useful information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices here: How accurate are Fitbit devices?

Well as per my first message, I wrote that I did indeed restart it multiple times...

However, it seems to be working alright for now. I'm thinking that the back of it was damp, making it stick to my skin and preventing it from detecting motion as much possibly.
