Versa 3 - Lost connection.

Woke up this morning to find versa saying must download all to start set up. Have uninstalled app and reinstalled. Turned phone on and off but nothing changes. Turned watch on and off but nothing changes. Had worked for over a year without a problem. Any ideas?

Thank you for taking the time to share the inquiry regarding your Versa 3. Sorry to know the inconvenience. 

I'd suggest follow the steps below:

  • Make sure you've removed your Versa 3 from your Fitbit account and from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

with the versa 3, this is a common and known problem. all the steps they say, you can find on google and won't work.
