Versa 3 Screen Wake and battery issues

My Versa 3 is brand new. Almost every day the quick view feature turns itself off and has to be reset using the app on my phone. Why? Is there a way to lock the device so it won't make changes without entering the password?

And a second question: why is this such a crappy battery? I had the earlier version of the Versa and it lasted 3-4-5 days up until the end of life. I have turned off all but the basic functions and it still lasts only a little more than 24 hours. You folks need to address that. the majority of the posts on this site have to do with battery life, and none of the comments are complementary.

Hi there, @nofoolin1. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issues with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.

As @Guy_ has stated, if the Screen Wake is no longer working on your Versa 3, please go to your quick settings and check if the screen wake has been accidentally been turned off. To do so, swipe right from the clock face on your watch to access the quick settings. Here you can change whether the screen turns on when you turn your wrist. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Also, as per the description of your post, it seems to me that you have the device lock feature enable. For more information, see How do I use the device lock on my Fitbit device?

About the battery, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd also recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

Hi @nofoolin1  - swipe the watch face right to get to Quick Settings and ensure the wrist action [Quick view] is enabled. if this accidentally gets disabled you will lose the Quick view in the phone app.

There are certain features or problems in the software that cause huge battery drain, Snore detection being the worst, but check each item in How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.
