Versa 3 battery and button issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my Versa 3 for just over a year. Last night i noticed that the indent button doesn’t seem to work or vibrate, the watch face works and activates on movement and i can go through all the screens. I charged the battery before going to bed and it drained down to 30% overnight.
i hqve tried turning it off via the settings but was not able to turn it back on until i put it back on charge.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, @Sweatyone. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Regarding the button not working, please try placing both forefinger and thumb each side of face and pressing gently, also make sure to cover the entire button with your finger. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

About the battery draining overnight, I was wondering if by any chance you're using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?

Additionally, I'd like to make sure you've taken a look at these tips and recommendations Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hope this helps.

Thank you for replying, i have tried
the advised forefinger and thumb technique.
I have never used snore detect function, and i have made no changes to my usual settings which usually only require the watch to be recharged every 4 days.
Everything works correctly on the watch except the indent button wont work and the battery is draining.
I wasn’t receiving notifications but after uninstalling from my phone and reinstalling they are back up and running.
The watch also vibrates when goals are met or notifications are received.
