Charged Versa 3 last night. Two hours into my day was at a 3 % charge, recharged and worked for an hour and then screen went black and nothing.

Hi there, @MommaMiller. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.

As a first approach, I suggest restarting your Versa 3. For instruction, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work and you haven't felt a vibration on your watch during this process, confirm that you've tried the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

As for the battery drain, please know that your Versa 3 battery should last up to 6 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

Additionally, please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

I have the same problem, the screen went blank yesterday and have tried all you have advised but nothing works. There is a vibration when I hold the button but the screen remains blank.

I’m having the same exact issue!

I can’t find anything online to sort it, I am starting to think buying this watch has been a waste of money. It has almost been 2 years since I purchased it and I presume now it is finished. Apple Watches cost a lot more but they must last longer.

I started an online chat, and it suddenly turned back on after being blank for two hours. I have owned Fitbit's for many years, but they do seem to die every year or two. I’m seriously considering an Apple Watch myself. Good luck!

Tried all of those and the screen doesn’t even turn on anymore. It is no longer working.

Waste of money. I wouldn’t touch a Fitbit ever again. I went out this weekend and bought a Garvin and so far it has been brilliant.
