Versa 3 battery draining quickly

Hi all,

anyone else experiencing a quick battery drain on their fitbit all of a sudden?

mine is now only lasting a day when two weeks ago it was still lasting all week! Seems to have inly happened since they have changed the watch  faces. Ive noticed the time on mine is always there now instead if a blank screen as it used to be( even though this is switched off in my settings ) have tried a reset but still the same and also have tried charging it  over a whole 24 hours too as another thread suggested.

Hi @Palmerasun - if the time is being displayed constantly it will drain the battery quickly unless it is a recognised Always On clock face, and even then it shortens the life between charges.

There are several options, the watch has an Analog or Digital Always On view and clock faces may have their own. Some options.

  • Swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and turn off all the icons except the middle bottom one [note you can see the battery level there]
  • press the button and the display should blank
  • if it doesn't change to another clock face
  • if it is still a problem, turn On the Always On function and turn it Off again.

In the watch Settings, Display menu you can change the type of Always On view. By changing it it will enable you to determine if the you are using a clock face Always On display or the built-in one. [A clock face cannot detect this change]

Sometimes the problem may come from elsewhere, so try turning off Bluetooth on the phone whenever you are not syncing.

Of course restarting the watch and phone can help sometimes, if the watch doesn't have a fault, such as water getting in.
