HI @Theiarosa29 - a sudden change normally indicates a watch fault, if there were no updates [to watch or Fitbit App] or changes in activity.
If the watch won't last a day something is seriously wrong.
When charging, if it gets hot, stop immediately, as this can often happen if water has got in at some point causing internal damage and shortening the battery life.

Hi there, @Theiarosa29. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post, I understand where your concern is coming from as your Versa 3's battery behavior has recently changed in the past few days. We're here to help! @Guy_ Thank you so much for your input!
Before anything else, I'd like to know if by any chance you're using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?
To better assist you, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I experienced the same thing and did manage to fix it by resetting it. It was acting as though a software update hadn’t fully installed which was causing the battery to drain. Regardless it is working fine now.
