Versa 3 battery draining quickly

I've noticed over the past couple weeks that my versa 3 battery is draining after just a couple of days. It wasn't a general deterioration, it was a sudden drop in the ability to hold a charge.

I contacted support and they confirmed that it was holding a charge from 100% to 0 for less than 2 days. All of my settings are consistent with just auto awake, brightness at dim, no GPS.

Unfortunately, this seems like a common issue and all they said they could do is give me a percentage off if I want to buy another new device.

This has completely turned me off to Fitbit, especially since this is a dramatic drop off and not a gradual decline in charge capabilities.

Hi there, @Deimel. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that the battery of your Versa 3 is draining quickly. I understand your concern and how you must be feeling. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

As you've mentioned, I've seen you contacted our Support Team before posting here and they've already assisted you. Even though I truly appreciate you took the time to come here and express your feelings towards your experience with your Fitbit devices and also want to find a resolution to your issue, my best advice is to keep the conversation with our team. Note for this kind of inquiries/cases/process, there's not so much we here in the forums can do for you as this is something that our team handles based on our policies.

Please note that our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy  is set into providing as much coverage as we can. For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty
