You will need to contact Fitbit Support  again, though I have no idea if it will still be covered or not.

Hi there, @Karieferguson. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the syncing issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. I'm glad that issue got solved. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.

Regarding the battery drain, are you using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?

As you already know, that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. With that being said, I suggest making sure you've followed all tips and recommendations provided here

If the issue persists, please follow @NellyG's advice and chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

See you around.

Mine has as well, since an update mine will not keep a charge. I changed to a fit bit clock face vs another in the stripe, per other forum posts and that didn't help. Nothing is helped and this is ridiculous, because it specifically happened after an update. Which means something in the update is causing the issue. I'm seriously disappointed. I've had many Fitbits and it usually comes down to this issue. I'm not a sporty person. I work from home. I use my Fitbit to try and remember to move more. So this isn't a case of it being abused or used in a rough way. It's your update and I'm very tired of this.

I agree with the post from LexiJ below.  My Fitbit battery began to drain very quickly after the latest update.  Prior to that, my battery lasted for 5-6 days.  I did not change any of the settings and do not use Snore Detect.  I have had this Fitbit for about 6 months,  so it is not that old and replaced my other Fitbit because I lost it. I have had two other Fitbits and have never had this problem. One of the claims Fitbit makes is how much longer the battery lasts than Aople Watch, but that is no longer the case at all. This is very disappointing and Fitbit needs to fix this.

Hi @Lexsij , @RamblinWoman , as @NellyG  says best to contact Fitbit, as it may be necessary to do a factory reset and they can help.

You can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.

If it is found faulty replace it where you bought it as it is under warranty.

I experienced the same issue with the latest update.  So far fitbit support has been useless.  This is obviously a software bug.

Hi @Lexsij, and @stobiewahn and @Karieferguson I think I've found the solution.  If you push the button on the left on your watch in to wake it and then slide to the left, you will see the settings icon.  If you go to Display and scroll down, there is an Always On Display setting that you can toggle off.  It says something about impacting the battery life.  I didn't change my settings to that, but I think the update defaulted it to that.

Mine is, and was, set to manual but that certainly could have been an issue had it not been. Hopefully that resolved yours 🙂

Turning on the “always-on” feature and GPS through the Fitbit mobile app is the reason your battery life is draining faster. This is allowing your watch to constantly display your screen and track your location even when you are not using it at the moment.

I don't use this feature - it is off - did not use it before either ~
Thanks though!

No, it isn't....I don't use that feature and I had checked - update did not
turn it on. It remains off.
Thank you for the idea though.

I’m having the same issue. My Versa 2 doesn’t stay charged longer than 24 hours. This is disappointing. Mine is not set to always on.

Thanks Will, you were right. My maon concern at this point is that I did
not turn either of those options on, but they both became active when I
installed an update. My conclusions is that the update turned them on.
