My Versa 3 battery keeps running down and will not recharge unless I spend ages cleaning the back and trying multiple different sockets. Frankly it's not worth all the effort.
As the battery cannot be replaced it seems the only option is to throw it away and buy a new one. Great for Fitbit's income but not for me or the environment.
Can't say I have been that impressed with it anyway so I will probably throw it away and buy an ordinary watch that I can rely on and that has a reasonable battery life.
Looking at other comments I am not alone with this so perhaps Fitbit ought to get their act together and provide a watch that you don't have to throw away after a couple of years.

Hi there, @davidneill. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 is still having battery issues. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Since all the steps you tried didn't work, you have a Versa 3 and report it's not charging, I need additional information from you that would best be shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further.
This form is only meant for you to use, so let me know once you’re done. Click here to get access to it.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...
