Versa 3 blank screen and it won't sync

The main display screen on my versa 3 has disappeared.  It's just black, I thought I was turned off completely but then swiped left/right/up and everything else is still there however none of apps on the menu will load and my device will not sync to mobile app. As I can't access the settings app, I cannot do the factory reset. Had my device 6 months now and never had a single problem with it nor have I come across a similar problem on this help site.
