Hi, I just bought my Versa 3 Fitbit today, and I've tried to use the button for hours but it's not responding. At one point it did work once, but it shortly stopped working again.
I've tried the pinch with your thumb and pointer finger. I've made sure to cover the entire button. Nothing seems to work and I can't get the button to respond. Any suggestions?

I don't know how to delete this but omg I watched a YouTube video on how to turn the versa 3 on and off. I pressed the button exactly like how he did it and now the button works every time. Before I covered the button with my whole thumb but you're suppose to just use the right side of your thumb like how did guy did in the video. Hello! I tried the steps in the above video and nothing worked. I've had no luck getting my fitbit turned on to set it up. I've felt a vibrate a few times, but it just keeps giving. I've tried a few other things like only pressing half the "button" and pinching it on both sides, yet nothing works. I'm having no luck! I don't want to have to exchange for the older model just because the button is glitchy!

I am experiencing this same issue. Nothing works. Ive done all troubleshooting and its extremely frustrating.

I managed to get mine all setup last night. I have to use my fingernail on the top half of the button, and make sure you restart your phone before setting up the new watch. I had issues all up until I restart my phone, then it worked and went through smoothly.

I shut down mine, just like in the video. Held my finger on the button for over a minute, no vibration and it didn't turn on either. The watch is completely black.
How do I fix this?

I have the same issue, completely dead and unresponsive. So charged for over an hour: no different but quite warm to touch…..
