My Versa 3 needed to charged so I put it on the charger. It started to read it was overheating a few minutes into charging I immediately unplugged the charger. The piece itself was very warm to touch. That was two days ago. Tried to charge today on the stand charger and the exact same thing happened. This has not happened before.
Anyone else have this happen? Now it is totally dead and I can’t charge it.

Hi there!
My Versa 3 did the same exact thing. Contact Customer Sevice and make sure you talk to someone.
They will have you send/mail the device (free of charge) to FitBit Headquarters so they can replace it for free. FitBit will also send you a return address label so shipping is free of charge. Just make sure you get a case # from the customer service representative.
Thankfully I still had my orginal FitBit Versa and I was able to use that until the my free Versa 3 returned.
