I am trying to setup my wife's new fitbit versa 3 and must unfortunately say that I am very frustrated by this point. I spent the last 2 hours trying to get spotify to work. I installed the 'Spotify- Connect & Control' app un her fitbit app.
It doesn't show under connected apps. In the compatible apps interface I get to it. All permissions are given. When trying to access the settings the screen stays white indefinitely. I have no chance to set anything and a major motivator to buy this gadget is not available. Please advice on how to fix

Hi @DocTobi - this white screen is one of the many bugs in the new V4 Fitbit App.
You can see more in posts in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users.
Unfortunately Fitbit don't officially allow going back to the stable V3 version.
However you don't need the Spotify app, instead use the built-in Music controls of the watch which enables you to control ANY music playing on the phone AND adjust the volume without leaving whatever clock or app is running on the watch and you don't even need Spotify premium to use it.
