Versa 3 cracked screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought a Versa 3 after my Versa 2 just stopped working last September. As you would replace the Versa 2 as it was out of warranty. My Versa 3 Screen has now cracked and I have had no help from you to get this fixed or replaced. I am not sure how this happened and I am willing to pay to have it fixed but all I keep getting from the helpline is that you do not cover damages ect ect and it can't be repaired. I have read that a lot of people have had the same problem and can't get a replacement screen. Seems like there is an issue with these screens and nonsense that all Fitbit offer is a discount to buy a new one.

I won't be purchasing a new one as I have now had 2 with no help what so ever from Fitbit. Some fit bit family 🤬🤬.

Hi there, @Siddell1970. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Since your Fitbit device was not eligible for repair or replacement, we wanted to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.

If you have any questions regarding what is covered under the warranty you can read more about it here fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty or please feel free to contact our team back so they can clarify any doubt.

Before doing something to your Versa 3, please review the section Availability or repair facilities/spare parts  and Exclusions and Limitations from the link I've shared above.

Hi there
I didn't need an answer to be honest, you have already told me why I can't get it repaired but my question is how do you even know it doesn't fit your criteria when you haven't even seen the watch. The post was to make people aware that your after sales as shocking. I have seen many people say the same thing, why make a watch that the screen can't be repaired? I won't be using your discount to buy another as I will never buy another Fitbit as the first one I purchased just stopped working and it was just out of warranty and once again you offered a discount to buy another. Seems to me this is your option for everything, it breaks here's a discount to buy another....Bo thanks.
