Versa 3 data is gone after syncing

I've had this model for the last 21 months and this is the first time I've had any real problems. Starting yesterday. I received a normal (usual) calorie count on my watch, but when I synced it with the phone App., it was reduced by several hundred calories and the watch adjusted itself to read the same. This went on all day through my exercises and walks. When I received my final reading this morning (for yesterday), it said I had only burned 1,088 cals. for the entire day. This is much lower than my Resting Metabolic Rate of 1400 calories. This morning I deleted the App. and re-installed it, but it's doing the same thing, which is every time I sync the watch, the App. modifies its stats. What's wrong???

Thank you.

Hello--

No! Everything told to me by you I had already done.

1. I went into my phone setting and made sure everything was right.

2. I went into the app. settings and made sure everything was correct.

3 I deleted the app. and reinstalled it (3 times).

4. I bought a new Versa 3 and synced it to the app.

None of this helped. All this happened between the hours of 10 pm on Friday the 29th and 3 am on Satrurday the 30th. The Fitbit app. developer indicated that they installed a firmware update around that time. I believe that that's the problem.

Can you help me??
