After 3 months of use, my Versa 3 was rendered completely inoperable after a tap on a pool rope during a leisurely swim that lead to a small crack on the screen. I’m trying to reorder with a discount Fitbit has offered for this, and I cannot find versa 3 on the website. Has it been discontinued? The only reason I’m even bothering to buy another Fitbit is because I was gifted several bands and don’t want them to go to waste. After this watch however, I’ll never purchase another one again. They are meant to support while working out and I wasn’t even doing that when I tapped the floating device on the pool rope.

i agree.. i am so insanely frustrated with this company and i dont know why i keep going back to it. ive been using fitbit since about 2016 and ive gone through so many trackers!!! the last one was a versa 3... worked perfectly until i decided to finally get the courage to use it swimming. it crapped out on me and they are offering me a 35% discount but NOT for another versa 3 (i cant even find them on their website?!) and im not allowed to use it towards a newer one like the sense 2 or versa 4. i would get a versa 2 (a tracker that is 2 + years old) but because it's on sale im not allowed to use my discount to it. their trackers dont seem to last more than 2 years at most (that is ALL ive ever had out of them) it adds up over the years.... and they just don't seem to give a dang about their customers. i could get a charge 5 with the discount but i dont like them as much as the versas so why should i buy something i dont want? i dont understand this company.makes me wonder how they're still in business. ive seen so many complaints.

Hi @LotusJ - yes the Versa 3 has been discontinued on the Fitbit site it seems and the Versa 4 which isn't as good in many respects isn't available yet.
However they should still be available in the stores and are at a discount price so you may get a good deal + plus a new warranty.

Thanks so much for your reply. Frustrated but I did also buy a new device. It’ll be my last though.:/.

I have to agree! This isn't a cheap device. I had it for little over a year. I took a swim yesterday and when I exited the pool it was no longer working. It's totally dead! This is the only reason I purchased this model because it said it was water resistant up to 50 meters. Of course, they offered me a discount, but I don't want any of their products any more. I purchased it Oct 2021 and already it's useless! If the damage was due to something I'd done, I'd understand, but this is a faulty product and should have been replaced. Either replace it or stop saying that it's water resistant. False advertising!

Exactly. False advertising. Versa 3 should be recalled or replaced. Fitbit's customer service has been really bad on this. My household is currently stuck with 2 of the versa 3s. One is 13+ months old and went dead in a leisure wave pool 2 weekends ago and the other was just purchased and I still can't return it.

Glad I'm reading this. Wife and I love our Versa 2s and have had them since their release. We have been considering getting Versa 3s. Guess not. Wondering if 4s will be good or bad. By the things I'm seeing here, I'm just gonna get Samsung watches and be done with it.

Enough is enough. When this Versa 3 acts up, I'm leaving all of Sh*tbit behind and moving to a new platform. My last device died prematurely, and the app is the absolute worst I've ever used. And now they are ridding us of many of the things that attracted us to Fitbit to begin with for "future improvements." The only upside to that is that things suck so bad with this app and platform that it won't take much effort to improve it, which isn't saying much.
Sorry for complaining, but I am fed up with it after using it for so many years. Best wishes to you all. Have a great spring and summer of fitness inspite of Fitbit.

That's what I did! My Versa 2 died after the firmware update. No longer tracking heart rate or sleep.
Moved on to a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 classic and loving it!

The warranty isn't worth buying. I tried to redeem mine, (which just went black one day on my wrist for no apparent reason) and just kept getting "try this" and nothing worked. I DEPEND on mine for work, so i can't"send it off" and wait forever so i had to give up and buy a new one. Skip the cost of the warranty. I agree, goes for about 2 years and then you have to buy s new one.... I've had 4 now....

@nspyrd If you bought a new one but also had the pay extended warranty, Allstate should still reimburse you for the old one, since Fitbits are not reparable.
