I was doing the new update. It got to 10 to 12, when the screen froze with the fitbit logo. I've tried everything mentioned in previous comments but my fitbit can't connect to my phone. Bluetooth is not finding it.
I've restarted as it says, Fitbit logo disappears, vibrates once, then logo appears again and is still frozen.
It's getting very frustrating!!

any luck? Exactly what you describe is happening to my Versa 3 since the update. I talked with Customer Service and they were not able to resolve. Offered 35% discount on a new watch but not a solution to fix current problem.

Pretty funny they offer 35% off a product you bought and worked fine until their update. Since they broke it, they want you to buy another. Lol. They should be sending out free replacements.
