My Versa three used to go roughly five days between charges. Since the most recent update I am lucky if I get two days.
I had made zero changes in the settings or in my normal usage. The only change that was made was the update, so that is very clearly what triggered the problem. The battery life is one of the features that lead me to choose a Fitbit smartwatch over other brands, so I am extremely unhappy with this.
How do I fix the battery problem the update has created?

Hi there, @TrixieSparrow. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Are you using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?
However, I'd like to share with you that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor your it's behavior in the next day. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.
Hope this helps.

Update has made my versa 3 totally useless. Cannot even hold a charge for more than 3 to 4 hours. I have shut it down, restarted it, set it at default settings, it doesn’t matter what I do it will not hold a charge. Plus when it charges now it gets really hot so that’s fun. I think that I should get a new Fitbit for free. They totally ruined my Fitbit

Forgot to mention that I do not have the snore on or display on all the time. It’s only on when I press the button.

Mine is doing the same. I noticed it right after the software update.

I have the same issue. Was getting 5 to 6 days of charge prior to the update and now can't even make it through a day. All of my settings remained the same. Fitbit's laughable suggestions of making sure I don't have any battery draining settings turned on didn't fix anything. My contact with Fitbit customer support to this point has been absolutely useless. And now they've offered me a "generous" 35% discount on a new Fitbit because my current Versa 3 is out of warranty. Absolutely unbelievable.
