I bought my versa 3 last week after going on a strict calorie deficit diet. I'm supposed to do 10,000 steps daily and all my old trackers show I burn off roughly 650 calories. This Versa 3 is showing I'm burning off over 2000 calories after doing only 50 steps!! I've questioned this on a Facebook group and was told this is correct. Its seem very very wrong to me???

Fitbit includes your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories which you are always burning just to stay alive.  These usually account for over half your daily calorie burn.  Obviously I have no idea what your "old trackers" were or how they measured calorie burn but I guarantee you were burning more than 650 calories a day if you were staying alive.
