Versa 3 is asking me for a 4-digit code

Charged my fitbit versa 3 and now it wants me to enter a4 digit number to unlock anything.  It will not let me hold the button to reset.

 

HELP please anyone, it's driving me nuts!

Sounds like you may have setup Fitbit Pay @jaynefl 

Holding the button is just a restart. 

Let's open the Fitbit App. 

Tap the upper left corner

Tap the Versa 3 

Scroll to the bottom, tap device lock

Set the option for fitbit pay only. 

Now force a sync.
