Hi, @Marco1234 , have you got notifications set up?  With notifications turned on your Versa should stay connected to your phone and sync throughout the day, which will keep your clock up to date.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums.

Hi there, @Marco1234. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from. @Julia_G Thanks for helping out!

While reading your post I was wondering if you've removed the old Fitbit devices you used to owned? If any of the previous Fitbit devices is still linked to your phone's Bluetooth settings, that might be causing connectivity issues with your Versa 3 and the Fitbit app and somehow, syncing issues what would explain why the time won't stay synced.

With that said, try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Versa 3 and the previous Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your new Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

After trying the above, keep and eye on your Versa 3 to see if the issue persists.

Hope that helps.

Hi @Marco1234  - if a watch loses time between syncs it is faulty.

To check, do a sync in the app so it says sync complete and check the time is correctly set.  You may need to restart the watch and sync again s few times to get it set correctly.

Then turn off Bluetooth and check the accuracy of the time on the watch after 4 hours or so. If it has lost any time (more than a second) it is possibly faulty.

Try doing a full Shutdown from the watch Settings menu, wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.

Then repeat the process with a clean working version of the watch just in case it was a temporary problem.

@Marco1234  - it seems your watch is faulty if it loses 20 minutes in 24 hrs.

You could try a factory reset from the watch Settings, About Versa 3 menu. Wait several minutes for it to complete. Then reinstall it in the Fitbit App.

If that doesn't resolve and still under warranty, 1 to 2 years depending on country law, the quickest way to resolve it is to take it back to where you bought it for replacement
