Hi there, @Lyns74. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the discrepancy with your walks. I'll do my best to help you with this as I understand how important is to you to get accurate data.
To better assist you, may I know how you're tracking your walks? Are you using the exercise app on your Versa 3 or SmartTrack? Is this issue happening only with your walks? Have you tried another activity?
If you're using the exercise app, please try restarting your Versa 3 and then, try once again going for a walk and let's see how it goes.
On a side note, if you are using SmartTrack to automatically detect your exercises, please know that most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. To start, the default duration settings of your Fitbit Versa 3 is 15 minutes long. However, you can also choose which activities your device tracks automatically, or change the amount of time needed to record the activity. To do so, please follow the next steps:
You can learn more about the SmartTrack feature in this link How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Hi, by SmartTrack do you mean the watch? I’m not using the app, just the watch. I changed settings a while ago to10 minutes but regardless, I know I walked constantly for 61 minutes so why would it only record 17?
