My Fitbit 3 looses time randomly. I’ll sync it and it works for a day or so then randomly falls behind again. Can’t rely on it for the correct time.

@MariaDanley Do you have the Fitbit set to refresh in the background? I’m not sure if that’s the cause but your Fitbit needs to sync to your phone to fetch the proper time. You can also try removing it from Bluetooth and re-adding it as well.

Hi there, @MariaDanley. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Luxe.
Have you tried what @Heather-S has shared with you?
Please keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
If by any chance you are running into syncing issues, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync? or if you need to relink your watch, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
Also, note that the time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. If you changed time zones and the time on your Fitbit device is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone setting is correct. For more information, see How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?
If none of the above works for your, I recommend changing your time zone to a complete different one, sync your device, put the correct time and sync again.
Hope that helps.

Agree.
Mine loses time every day.
Within two days it’s ten minutes behind.
This is the second Fitbit watch model I’ve purchased in a year that is poorly designed.
This was surely the last Fitbit product I ever purchase.

A “watch” shouldn’t require constant syncing in order to keep time.
It’s a watch. It’ should just keep time for as long as it’s charged.
Your company has been doing a terrible job of designing recent products.
The Luxe has a super tiny display that’s impossible to read and this Versa model doesn’t keep reliable time at all. And… it’s a watch.
I can buy a ten dollar watch at CVS that keeps better time than this thing.
It’s a shame.
Fitbit used to make great products.

Although “faulty” isn’t a plus, I agree it’s a possibility. However, the Fitbit Moderator, above, states “Please keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced..,”
So, that leads me to believe it’s not faulty, it’s just expected behavior.
Again… I don’t feel a watch should require syncing in order to keep accurate time.
Thanks for the reply.
