So I've run into this problem where the haptic button turns the display on as it should, but when I try to touch the screen to navigate to anything (such as hourly steps or another app), the screen shuts off, and I have to touch the haptic button to turn it on again.
Basically, only the haptic button is working.
How do I fix this?
A few days ago, I also had a problem where the screen was slower in responding to my touches. These problems arose this past Saturday after I had worn it at a water park, even though the watch claims to be water resistant.
I should also point out that I never had any of these problems when I had my Versa 2, and am strongly considering switching back to the 2 if my 3 is unsalvageable.

Hi @plainwildcatfan - unfortunately the seals can fail over time. It may limp along and eventually dry inside if not used for a week if it is not permanently damaged (the old trick of placing in rice for a while might work).
If it's still under warranty claim for a replacement.
