My versa 3 is loosing steps each day. Had a 10000 day and synced. After a few minutes the steps showed only 7600. This is happening every day for about 3 weeks. Fitbit support only said to wait for an update on 25 Feb but none showed, in another inquiry with support only been told to wait for update. So nobody cares.

Hi @Germanusa - this is a known issue currently affecting users - see Unreliable step counting bug
There is nothing a user can do to resolve it, the only work around is to turn off Bluetooth during move hours and to do multiple manual syncs when Bluetooth is turned on again. Other measurements are affected if the steps are wrong.
There will be no update to fix this as it is at the Fitbit server level that the error occurs.
The Stress score is also not working [at the server level] and there is nothing you can do to fix it.

I think the losing steps thing it might actually be the real amount of steps. It most likely jumps ahead without you really noticing and then when it resets to your actual steps (Loses steps) that 7,600 might actually be your actual steps. That is the trouble we are all having. It miscounts and give us extra steps then reverts back to show our actual steps. I am guessing that 10,000 steps is your daily goal? Next time really pay attention to it and you will see it happen a lot even when you sync it.
When it tells you you reached your goal what are you doing at that time? Are you doing some kind of activity or are you just relaxing? I ask because I could be just sitting and chilling after a nice day's workout and it will say I reached my goal when I actually hadn't because last time I checked it didn't take me 2,000 steps to reach my bathroom. It actually for about an hour jumped from 4,400 steps to 6,000 steps then went back down to what it was after an hour.
