Hi,
I have had my Versa3 for over a year and never had a problem until now, it just will not connect to the Fitbit app on my Android device, which hasn't changed!
I have tried:
shutting down/restarting my Versa3 / turning off Bluetooth on my handset / logging out of the Fitbit app and restarting the handset / removing the Versa 3 from my Fitbit app, then restarting the handset / logging back into the Fitbit app, adding the device and trying to pair (I always see the 4 digits on the Versa 3 but it never pairs and just says " try again" ) and any combination of the above.
It's pretty frustrating that this has happened for no reason. The device (handset and/or watch) didn't lose charge.
Thought I would say that Bluetooth on my handset works perfectly well with the other paired devices (car and Google earbuds so it isn't a Bluetooth issue on my phone).
Also, I have now tried uninstalling the Fitbit app from my phone handset, restarting, installing the app and trying to connect the watch again, still no joy. Put in the 4 digit code, says it's trying then fails to connect!
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

I am having the exact same experience and have tried all of the things you have tried as well. The link that I have identified is mine stopped sync Oct 3 when Fitbit app was updated. Oct 17th, a new revision was released. I was hoping that would address the no sync issue, but it apparently has not.
I have worked with Fitbit support and they also walked me through all the steps you listed above twice. I even had one hang up on me when I told them "I have already done this and nothing is working - what other ideas do you have?"
I am convinced it was the software update as the Versa 3 continues to charge, track heart beat and steps - it just won't sync with the phone anymore. Like your experience, the phone/app sees the Versa 3, sends the 4 digits, and then fails to connect. Hopefully someone at Fitbit can duplicate the issue and come up with either steps to re-connect or push out a new update to remedy this issue.

So, I fixed the issue myself and meant to update here but the fix was annoying! I had to carry out a factory reset of my Versa3.
I did this yesterday morning after realising no one was going to help me and it was the last option I guess. Anyway, the factory reset worked, I was able to synchronize with my handset; so it proved (to me) that it was the watch all along and nothing to do with my handset/Bluetooth etc.
Good luck!

Thank you SchnauzerPapa. That did the trick. Of course now all my data from Oct 3 until now is lost and I have to reprogram all my settings, etc., but at least it syncs again.
Cheers!
