So my Fitbit versa 3's microphon stopped working the other day,
I try my best not to get it wet, so no swimming, or showers with it on. For work I am occasionally out in the rain but not for long.
When I use voice assistant it doesn't recognize speech, it times out and suggests things to say. When voice replying to text messages it does not recognize the speech. (before working with support it said transcription error now it just goes to the strat recording speech page.)
STEPS DONE
1. Clear cache - (apps>fitbit> clear cache, then force restart app)
2. Clear all app data
3. Uninstall/ Reinstall app on phone
4. Restart fitbit
5. Remove fitbit from app and re add
6. Factory Reset
7. contact support
- restart fitbit and try voice settings
Support told me it was a software issue and that i woudl just have to wait for a fix. I found that odd, esecially after the factory reset. So I came to the community to see if there were others with the same issue, a serach didn't show my a recent flood of similar issues that you usually see if there was an emerging software issue. so have you had this issue have you fixed it?

Hi @casraecal - you seem to have done some troubleshooting but a few other things to try are to logout of the Fitbit App and restart the phone and watch.
Login to the Fitbit App and go to Voice Assistant and connect it again and see if that helps.
