Earlier this week, my Versa 3 started changing from a menu option to the home screen rapidly. The haptic vibration was faster than the screen could change. This then started slowing down and eventually stopped after about a minute. The watch was then normal until later in the day it did the same thing again except this time it must have drained the battery because the screen went black and it became unresponsive.
After charging for 30 minutes (as per a help topic I saw), it turned back on again and operated normally. After a third episode of menu changing, the watch reset itself and asked o be connected to a phone. I presumed at this point that I had lost the day's data, so I started the process of linking it to my phone.
My Samsung Galaxy phone found the watch and started the process of linking. I got a screen on my watch, rotating through languages, asking me to download the app and giving me a previous activation date. During the linking process I saw a big red cross on the watch screen with the text - Data not cleared. Sync and try again.
Bottom line, I can't get any further with the linking of the watch to my phone. The watch is stuck on this screen.
I had a similar problem with the syncing issue maybe a year ago. I raised a ticket but now I can't find it on here. In the ticket, I explained how I found a way to overcome this issue. If I could find this conversation, half of my troubles would be dealt with. The other half is the problem f menu switching, which may be a sign of something more sinister going on with the watch itself.
Any help will be gratefully accepted. Thanks, Stewart
