My unit will disconnect from my phone and had to reset. Once connected notice missing alot of letters and numbers while looking at the stats of my day on the Versa3.  I did read there will be a update soon hopefully this wasn't part of the update.

Hi there, @Jestrait. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issues with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

Regarding the screen issue, please restart your Versa 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

If the syncing issue persists, p
lease try the following in the order listed (even if some of them you've tried already):

  • Unpair your Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 3.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.
  • Once your Versa 3 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Hi @Jestrait - if you restarted it and there is still a problem it can be a hardware or software issue. If you factory reset it and the problem remains then the watch has a fault.

You can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support for help with the factory reset and setup again.
