Versa 3 screen came off

Hi all, the screen just fell out of my versa 3 after 10 months. Had the same thing happen to my Versa 2. I see plenty of similar complaints on line.

 

I also see you can’t find your serial number other than from the packaging. 

if I don’t have a serial number, or proof of purchase ( it was a gift) , where do I stand with warranty?
