Versa 3 screen frozen

My Versa 3 screen is frozen on the clock face. It won’t let me swipe right or up and down. I have restarted it about 10 times, updated it from the app and charged it. It is still frozen. What can I try next? Thanks.

Hi @Jenm1882 - this may be simply a watch settings issue.

Double tap the screen, swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and turn off all the icons except the middle bottom one which should be on.

If it is stuck in Always On mode without Wrist wake you will have to push the button or double tap it before being able to do something.

Thanks but when I double tap the screen nothing happens and I still can’t swipe. If I double tap the button it takes me to the screen with the music icon but again everything is frozen when I try to select an icon.

If you press the button once the screen illuminates. If you press it again it goes blank. When you hold the button in to reset it takes you to the set up voice assistant screen but again can’t press the open app button because it’s frozen.

@Jenm1882- thanks, press and hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and release the button and wait for it to start.

You can also try changing the watch face from the Fitbit App if it is still causing problems.

I have restarted it at least 10 times and changed the watch face. It’s still the same 😢

@Jenm1882- sorry, for this strange behaviour, it might be better to chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support. If necessary they can take your through a factory reset.

Make a note from the Gallery tile of the names of any clocks or apps you have chosen to be able to install them again.
