Versa 3 screen won't swipe

Versa3 will not swipe in any direction. How can I do a factory reset with just the button?

I have done multiple restarts

I have Removed from my phone, Removed the App. restarted phone, reinstalled the Fitbit app and then added the Versa 3 back to the app.

I have changed the clockface to multiple ones made by Fitbit.

Problems I am seeing are:

Battery only lasts for 12 hours and I cannot swipe in any direction.

Fitbit is Known for battery issues. This is my 4th fitbit and 3rd Versa 3.

 

The answer is NOT : hold in the button for 10 sec

I talked to two techs at fitbit yesterday and nether one had any idea. 1st one hung up on me, and the 2nd one sent my ticket to a higher level. I then got an email saying I could buy a new watch at a discount. This is not acceptable.

Hi @prdubois  - clearly not the answer you should be getting when you want to factory reset.

 

Can you try chat again, this time via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support and get them to give you the instructions.
