Versa 3 step count is not accurate

For the second day in a row, my Fitbit suddenly decreased my number of steps at some point. Yesterday it dropped me from about 9,500 to 6,200 sometime in the evening. And today, I had already hit 10k a couple of hours ago, and now it’s dropped me back down to 9,100.

I’ve had several different fitbits for years and have never seen this before. Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm having the same issue, evwry day this week it's taking at least 10k steps off of me and I'm considering moving to a galaxy watch

Yes me too!! It buzzed several hours ago to say I had done 10,000 steps but now I’m on 9,258?! So annoying!!

I saw in another thread that there is an unreliable step counting bug. Unreliable-step-counting-bug 75207

This has been happening to me too in the last few days. Twice yesterday it told me I had reached 10000 steps when I did not, but kept resetting and giving me different totals. Very frustrating.

This has also happened to my versa 3 every day for the last 2 weeks. Steps keep getting decreased throughout the day, often multiple times. Is there a fix for this bug?
