Versa 3 steps higher than app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa 3 watch states 21,380 on a day and on the app it says 20,850.

I have synced many times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have reset my watch..I have unpaired and paired it again and nothing works.

At one point it updated correctly then reverted back to the smaller number. Now I'm wondering what other days it has done this on!

Please can anyone suggest anything to help

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SianLW.

Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to your Versa 3 showing more steps than your Fitbit app. I appreciate your efforts on get this improved.

Please confirm if you are using Mobile track. It is a service that allows you to count steps using your phone even if you forget to wear your Fitbit, this can add more steps to your final step count since both your phone and Versa 3 steps are counted. You can "unpair" Mobile Track from your account. On your Fitbit app go to the upper left corner, on the phone and device icon. Click on your phone icon and on the 3 dots and choose "unpair".

I've had no response since I replied last.

It's still happening. Even with calories burnt.

Today - watch steps 25,485 phone steps 24,640

Calories burnt - watch 3525 phone 3751

What is happening with this?

@SianLW Thanks for sharing these details, I'm sorry the issue persists and I wanted to let you know that our team is aware of this situation. They're currently working on a fix which will be released within the next few weeks.

I appreciate your patience and in the meantime, please make sure to keep the Fitbit app updated so the rest of your information can sync correctly.
