Versa 3 stuck on Fitbit Logo

My Versa3 is only 7 months old but it is stuck on the fitbit logo, I have tried rebooting and disconnecting but now I only have the fitbit sign, nothing happens, how do I get this fixed or replace or a refund - the last is my preference as this is my second Fitbit not working.

I have the receipt and paid by credit card, please can anyone advise? Thanks

Hi there, @nagromanit. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

Please note the issue you're having comes from performing a factory reset without first unpairing your Fitbit device from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings.

Before considering other options, please make sure you've followed all steps listed below:

  • Unpair your Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

If none of the above works, please follow @Guy_'s advice.

Hi @nagromanit - it is covered by warranty from where you bought it.

If you take it back to the shop they may replace it over the counter with a new one, or if you bought direct from Fitbit they will send you a refurbished one without any of the accessories.

But first perhaps try chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support in case they can get the factory reset to work.
