Versa 3 text messages

I upgraded from a versa 2 lite to a versa 3. I have not been able to figure out how to receive text messages on my versa 3. It worked fine on my versa 2 lite. I do receive email notifications. I've tried. Unpairing and pairing to my phone several times but no luck.

Hi @DancingBay -  a few people have the same problem but to be sure did you follow How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I have the same issue and went through the full process to attempt to fix but nothing. ☹️
will attempt to contact them now.

Hi have you gone to the notification settings In the phone app to allow and also to set which message service to use such as Facebook messenger, WhatsApp and text on phone. As that was the only issue I had when setting mine up.

I contacted Fitbit online and went through the painful steps again and it worked!? The only missing setting was on my phone - the notification centre was off… all others on and I had to sync again. All fixed up!
