Versa 3 won't respond

It hasn’t worked right since I did the last update, screen wouldn’t scroll all the way to either side so nothing works, it randomly pops up to switch watch faces, randomly goes bright and dim.  Haven’t found a way to stop it.  It died yesterday morning at work, took it home and started charging it, but no response.  After a few hours on the charger I got the Fitbit blue logo but it wouldn’t turn all the way on.  It vibrated a few times and then no response.  Left it on the charger all night, still won’t turn on.

this is my second one with trouble I’m about done struggling with Fitbit

Hi there, @__JH. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, I suggest trying the following:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your Versa 3 using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If you manage to bring your Versa 3 to life, but the battery keeps draining, may I know if you're using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?

However, I'd like to share with you that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor your it's behavior in the next day. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.

Thanks for getting back to me, at this point it is completely unresponsive, none of the buttons work and still no idea if it charges.

I do not use snore detection.

Before the last update I had the same clock face, but not with always on display.  When I did the last update and the screen stopped working correctly and would stop halfway between screens and none of the screen buttons worked it has turned this feature on and off for days now.  As well as the screen getting brighter and dimmer, it randomly does this off and on by itself, along with the clock face selection screen.  I cannot select anything nor can I get it to stop the function it is doing.

I have already tried everything you suggested multiple times in the past couple weeks.
