My versa 3 will not sync, I cannot restart it. I let the battery go to 0%. Will the device turn off with a dead battery? Then, Will the device restart automatically when I charge it?

Hi there, @Annette1. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.

If you recharge your Versa 3, it should start up as it normally does. However, if you also have difficulties to charge your Versa 3, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? 

Once you manage to charge your Versa 3, try syncing it and see how it goes. If you continue having syncing issues, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

My Fitbit had an X on the screen and still would not sync. Today the screen changed to the logo and I was able to update and sync after restarting my phone.
