In regards to not getting notifications, there are generally three items that can cause it:

  • You didn't enable notifications.
  • You don't select the right application for texting (if you have downloaded a secondary, or have multiple texting apps installed)
  • Bluetooth sync issue (rampant in Fitbit devices).

Thank you for that, do you think it could be a problem caused by my Apple Watch, when I get Texts, sometimes they show up on the Watch????

Hope to hear back soon.

I am having the same problem. I’ve tried everything I’ve been told to do but I still can’t get my messages onto the Versa 3. I could do with some help.

Did you call Fitbit, they are very helpful?, I’ve had no time to call yet, still at work, I will be calling tonight.  You should try, if you need their number, I have it, let me know

Not sure if it's the same on iPhone but on Android in the fitbit app tap your profile (top left), tap versa 3, tap notifications, tap app notifications and check the apps you want to receive notifications from.

My text message appears on my phone but only displays for 3 seconds which is not enough time to view it. When I pull down for notifications it just says all caught up. Why can't I read the text on my phone or review previous notifications? All help gratefully received. Patti

Make sure you have message previews on in the notification setting on your iPhone. I had the same issue. Turned in previews always and it works just fine.

Thank you,  this worked for me on Samsung Galaxy 9 phone as well. After trying for 2 days to figure out why I could not see my messages on the Fitbit, now I can.

Thanks this solved the problem for me. Even though I enabled everything during setup this was still turned off for me.

I’m having this issue too.  Notifications are enabled and iPhone 10 is synched with Fitbit. I get texts on my phone via the message app that came with the phone. Can that be synched or?

thanks
