Versa 3 won't sync or track any data

My Fitbit Versa 3 has not synced since October 10. Any data that accumulates for the day doesn't stick. It returns to 0 steps. I'm caring for a relative and this is one more stress I don't have time to take on in getting it fixed. Please help.
